This treatment eliminates varicose veins and spider veins, which are caused by swollen and twisted veins. These veins lose their capacity to prevent the backflow of blood, thus interfering with healthy blood circulation. Common side effects include swelling of the injection site which typically resolves on its own within 30 minutes after treatment. Hematoma can occur in rare cases.
